Nahbi Guest House: TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

NAHBI GUEST HOUSE: AVOID!!

Here is my experience at the Nahbi Guest House in Gyeongju, Korea.  I recommend people AVOID this Guest House.

My Experience:
I stay in the Nahbi Guest House and the manager expects me to attend a gathering of guests at 9pm. I don't for several nights because I'm busy working. Finally, when I do attend, he says,

"I thought you were a racist for not coming to the meeting".

At the same meeting, some other Korean members got drunk and called me gay, insulting me, and the manager and his workers sat and laughed at the event.

I wrote an angry letter to the manager, and when I went back a second time (because of a reservation from before) he was angry.  He said that people in my country are rude too. Also, he said he didn't make the rude comment (he only laughed) so it's not his problem.

Several weeks later, I returned but he refused me as a guest, despite the guest house being empty.

Finally, he told me that foreign guests make "stupid questions" regularly, so he has a sign, proudly displayed, saying "no silly questions" aimed at his foreign guests.

This manager doesn't have high education, but the rude behavior and dumb attitude caused me to write this.

I recommend people AVOID this hostel
